EFI Bucharest signs a partnership agreement with the Lycée Français Anna de Noailles
A strong educational agreement
Bucharest, 18 April 2024 – Luc Chatel, Chairman of the Odyssey Education group, has signed an agreement with the Lycée Français Anna de Noailles on behalf of EFI Bucharest, strengthening cooperation between the two establishments and guaranteeing continuity in the French secondary education system for our CM2 pupils who so wish.
Strengthening relationships for quality educational continuity
Signed with Adela Guédon, President of the Fondation Lycée Français Anna de Noailles, and in the presence of Nicolas Warnery, French Ambassador to Romania, this agreement enshrines the spirit of educational cooperation between our two establishments and the dynamism of French education in Bucharest, with the support of the French Embassy in Romania.
A commitment to educational excellence
Founded by Odyssey Education in 2019 and accredited by the French Ministry of Education, EFI Bucharest is an international school located on an exceptional campus in the centre of Bucharest. It has rapidly established itself as a school of excellence thanks to its rigorous educational programme, which is resolutely open to the world. From nursery school onwards, students are taught in three languages (French, English and Romanian) by specially trained French and international teachers.
A smooth transition to French secondary education
The agreement will enable every CM2 pupil at EFI Bucharest admitted to the 6ème class and wishing to continue their secondary education in the French school system to join the Lycée français Anna de Noailles. This principle of integration is based on close academic coordination between the two school heads and the teaching teams. In addition, thanks to the trilingual education from which they have benefited, our EFI Bucharest students who arrived in the early grades will have a greater chance of joining the American International Section offered (limited places available) by the Lycée Français Anna de Noailles from collège and then at lycée with the preparation for the International French Baccalaureate.
‘I would like to pay tribute to the partnership spirit of this agreement and the active support of the French Embassy in Romania. It is a recognition of the academic work carried out at EFI Bucharest and, above all, a guarantee of serene continuity for our families, who are attached to both our educational project and the possibility for their child to continue their education up to the French baccalaureate’
