January's Newsletter

Educational games in the classroom, water experiments in kindergarten, meeting with Erasmus students, and the return of lunchtime clubs... A month full of learning, where everyone had the chance to explore, imagine, and get involved!

Sustainable Development Workshop

The CM1 and CM2 classes welcomed French students participating in an Erasmus exchange at the University of Bucharest. They came to present a documentary they had created on sustainable development, highlighting inspiring initiatives and engaging the children in discussions about their good practices.

Learning while having fun

Learning also happens through play in the classroom! This playful approach allows students to grasp concepts in an active and engaging way. For example, in CE1, students have explored different skills through various games this month: "Don’t Go Over 100!" – a card game to practice mental math ; The Seven Families game and board games – to learn about food chains ; The Garden game – to practice spatial awareness on a grid. These activities make learning both fun and effective! 🎲✨

Preschoolers in the World of Water

In the MS/PS class, the children created a temporary artwork by recreating the ice floe. Using ice cubes, they observed its melting and tried to build the tallest tower.

Lunchtime clubs

The lunchtime clubs have made their big comeback and are now open to all elementary students, offering two exciting options: a reading club and an upcycling club. The goal of the upcycling club is to raise students' awareness of the importance of reusing materials and reducing waste.
