EFI Bucharest reserves the right to remove, without prior notice, any content posted on any page that would violate the laws of France, especially the provisions on data protection. EFI Bucharest further reserves the right to claim the user's civil and/or criminal liability, particularly in the event of posting any racist, abusive, defamatory or pornographic messages, regardless of the medium used (text, photography...).


Management of personal data

In France, personal data is mainly protected under the law N° 78-87 of January 6th 1978, the law N° 2004-801 of August 6th 2004, the article L. 226-13 of the Penal Code and the European Directive of the October 24th 1995.


When connected to the EFI Bucharest website, the following data may be collected: the URL of the links through which the user has accessed the EFI Bucharest website, information relating to the user’s access provider, the Internet Protocol Address (IP) of the user.


In any event, EFI Bucharest only gathers personal information about the user for purposes of facilitating certain services it offers on its website. The user is required to make a written and signed request, accompanied by a signed copy of his passport or identity card, specifying the address to which the answer should be sent.


None of the personal information relating to a user of the EFI Bucharest website is published without his or her knowledge, nor exchanged, transferred, assigned nor sold to third parties on any media. In Firefox: At the top of the browser window, click on the Firebox button, then go to the Options tab. Click on the Privacy tab. Configure the storage rules to: use personalised settings for the history. Then deselect to disable cookies.

In Google Chrome: Click at the top right of the browser on the menu icon (represented by three horizontal lines). Select Settings. Click on Display advanced settings. In the Confidentiality section, click on settings. You can block cookies via the Confidentiality tab.

In Opera: At the top of the browser window, click the Opera button, then go to the Settings tab. Click the Basic link. In the Cookies section, tick Block cookies from third parties and website data to block cookies.

Applicable law and jurisdiction

Use of the EFI Bucharest website is governed by the laws of France. Any dispute related to its use shall be construed in accordance with the laws of France and under the sole jurisdiction of the Courts of Paris.
